24 Nov ED another reason to take a statin.

One of the leading causes of erectile dysfunction is vascular disease. This same disease process that causes heart attacks can also lead to ED.   An interesting study presented to the American College of Cardiology Scientific Sessions 2014  and published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine March 29, 2014 found that men were who were treated for high cholesterol with a Statin saw a 24% improvement in there response to an International Improvement of Erectile Function Survey.  Some men are reluctant to take a Statin for heart disease, but who knows, they may consider taking one if they think sexual performance may improve.
